Young Professionals of the Chippewa Valley Membership
Membership in the Young Professionals of the Chippewa Valley is open to any professional between the ages of 21 and 39. Membership is discounted for professionals that work for a business or organization that is a member of he Eau Claire or Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce. We have members from all different professions including: accountants, bankers, event planners, financial representatives, teachers, chiropractors, real estate agents, university professionals and more.
Annual membership cost is:
$15.00 (full-time student over the age of 21, educational institution must be a member of the Eau Claire Chamber, please include copy of student ID with application)
$35.00 (Employer is a member of the Eau Claire Chamber or Chippewa Falls Chamber)
$100.00 (Employer is not a member of the Eau Claire Chamber or Chippewa Falls Chamber)

YPCV’s membership mix is the organization’s greatest strength. In a survey conducted of the YPCV members in January 2010, the following information was compiled:

While we target ages 21-39, 67% of YPCV members fall between
the ages of 26-35.
Relationship Status:
48% are married
31% are single/divorced
Gender:
56% are female
44% are male
Political Affiliation:
31% are Democrats
32% are Republicans
94% of the members vote in national elections
70% in state elections and 46% in local elections
Only 5% do not vote
Work:
Members expand 15 industry categories ranging from financial,healthcare
and service with the largest percentage from professional/business services.
28% are employed by companies with 2-24 employees
22% are employed by companies with 25-99 employees
88% of YPCV members work in Eau Claire
Education:
59% hold a bachelor’s degree
18% hold a masters degree
Origins:
25% are “lifers” and have always lived in the area
25% are considered “stickers,” moved here more than two years ago
18% are considered a "transplant" attended college her and stayed
10% are "newbies", moved here within the last 2 years
15% are “born again,” born in the area, moved away and came back
53% expect to stay in Eau Claire over 10 years

73% of YPCV members donate 1-5 hours per month to community service
